Pastor Fields is a visionary and he teaches that ministries are necessary both in and out of the physical building. Pastor Fields is a member of the National Baptist Conventions and is the past president of the Intermountain General Baptist Convention, Inc and is an active member of the Southern Baptist Convention. On the 1st of June in 1946 in Philadelphia, PA Rev. Harold Fields was born. He is the fifth of six children born to the late Dec. Ozise and Deaconess Ruth Ann Fields. He was educated in the Philadelphia public school system and graduated from West Philadelphia High School in 1964. Upon graduation from high school Rev. Fields enlisted in the United State Navy where he serves 3 years active duty and 17 years reserve duty. Rev. Fields was called to the ministry and licensed to preach in 1978; he was ordain in 1982 at the Millennium Baptist Church in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Philadelphia college of bible, he is also a graduated of the Billy Graham school of Evangelism and has many certificates from the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education and the Southern Baptist Convention. From 1984-1986 Pastor Fields pastored the Branch of Zion Baptist Church in Philadelphia PA,, in 1986 Rev. Fields moved to Salt Lake City, UT and was called as the pastor of the New Hope Baptist Church in Rock springs, WY where he pastor for 11 years. For 21 years Pastor Fields with love and dedications has pastored the Unity Baptist Church of Salt Lake City, UT. Pastor Fields is retired from the United State Mint, in Philadelphia, PA and Salt Lake City Corporation as a parking enforcement officer. Pastor Fields has sat on various boards and have held memberships in: Local Union 104, Community Action Team, Equal Opportunity, Tesoro Community Action Team, NAACP.
Pastor Fields is married to Barbara Fields and father of 6 children and 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
